Walter’s fondness towards London’s history, folklore, underground stories and lost rivers had driven this research project to communicate his findings through detailed hand delineation, an art piece that took approximately 7 months to complete. The stories are recorded within the urban and landscape borders, highlighting the glory days as well as the secrets and hidden past of London subterranean. It is an art made of superimposed geographical map and typography, a place-making tool that conveyed aspects beyond its physical context.
