Workshops like this one are a rare find in Singapore & Malaysia- one that allows public access and is equipped with all tools necessary to make and to create. Decades ago, Home-fix started out as a hardware store for DIY goods. Then, in recent years, this idea of “Fabrication Revolution” was adapted (as with other workspaces like 13 & Hackerspace), enabling people to have the pleasureof hands-on making and skill sharing. Run by founder and managing director Cheong Kee Low, Home-fix workshop had attracted hundreds of visitors in a showcase event in February prior to its officially launch weeks ago.
